Fire alarm systems are important for the detection of smoke, flames, and water flow on sprinkler systems. For the most part, fire detection systems are not optional because they are required by federal, state, and local building codes. If, in your structure, such a system is not required, it may be a good idea to consider such a system anyway. We recommend this because it is important to protect the assets of your business; also to provide a warning system for your employees to evacuate the building in the event of a fire emergency. All fire systems installed by OEP are monitored by our UL/FM approved monitoring center.

BENEFIT REVIEW:

  • Automatically notifies fire authorities of a potential fire, even if no one is in the building
  • Provides smoke and/or heat detection
  • Monitors water flow and tamper switches on sprinkler systems
  • Lets you know if you have water from the sprinkler system flowing in your building
  • Notifies occupants to evacuate the building if a fire is detected
